Are you interested in creating your own unique pieces of jewellery?

Jewellery making is a great hobby. You can learn how to make your own customised jewellery. You can create jewellery to match any of your outfits and its great for personalised presents. You can make jewellery anywhere, at home whilst watching tv, or sitting in the garden, or even whilst on holiday. You don't need many tools or much outlay to begin this new hobby. Save money by recycling your unloved or broken jewellery items. Watch a jewellery making video tutorial on the Lancashire Evening Post website, ask the experts section www.lep.co.uk/experts

So, why not come on one of my jewellery making courses and learn how to make jewellery with beads, wire and other materials. Each course is themed to cover particular skills, designs and materials.

I run my own jewellery making 1 day courses at venues in Lancashire; Cedar Farm Mawdesley and Samlesbury Hall, nr Preston. I also teach jewellery making classes at adult education colleges; weekly courses at Lancashire College, Chorley and 1 day courses at Burton Manor College in Cheshire.

For further details on all the jewellery making classes visit my website www.bebeady.co.uk

My teaching background

I began teaching design in 2003 in further education and completed my teacher training at university. In 2005 I began teaching jewellery making classes, weekly college and community based courses. These included classes; at a community centre, a mum's group at a primary school, carers taster sessions, an asian community group and courses at a drugs rehabilitation centre.

I began running bebeady jewellery courses at the start of 2007 and teach a variety of one day jewellery making courses at Cedar Farm in Mawdesley and also at Samlesbury Hall, Nr Preston, Lancashire. I am looking for further venues (ideally in arts or crafts related venues) for either Saturday or Sunday classes in North Lancashire, South Cumbria or West Manchester areas.

If you know of any arts and crafts related venues in these locations that have a classroom and would be available for hire, please
contact me, I would appreciate it.
